It is possible to change the DMX frame size for Enttec Open and like devices with a hidden settings key on each platform. With ofxDMX, ofSerial is connected but nothing is sent.
Emailed Enttec, now i am entrec waiting for that key and also the port labels because they zeroed them all out in the online example code. Each one has a drop down menu where you can force the device type. Anyway, i will try with Arduino and Raspberry very soon! Manual tuning should never be performed except for some very particular cases.

If so you then modify ofxDMX to let you choose which of the two value to pick, and that should do the magic. Doing this modification may should make ofxDMX talk only to universe2 instead of universe1. You can try and decrease the output frequency until the issue is resolved.
