Had to buy sound card and install it. Hi Jake, Is the soundMAX intergrated into your motherboard, open up the case and make a note of the make mainboarrd model of your motherboard, then look integratee the motherboard manufacturers website, there should be updated drivers there for you to download.

Yep I agree does the same for most of these driver download I also tried the one for Realtek AC 97 with similar results, come on can,t some at CNet make sure that these are going to work alongside the various Anti virus programs.
